Shared Project Memory
One memory per project that
Claude Code and
Codex both get before each run. New in Beta.22.
What it keeps
Winskel keeps one memory for each project: short facts such as how the tests run, conventions, decisions and constraints. Before each run, Winskel gives the current facts to the agent doing the work,
Claude Code or
Codex, so neither starts from zero.
Add and approve facts
Open Settings, then Context and memory, and pick the project. Write a fact and choose Keep. When an agent reports something worth remembering, Winskel proposes it and waits for your choice; nothing an agent proposes becomes current until you accept it.
Correct, forget and share
Correct a fact to replace it with a new version, or Forget it: a forgotten fact keeps no text. You can choose whether a fact goes to
Claude Code,
Codex or both, and the page shows what was sent to agents.
Folder files
Folder files are off unless you turn them on for a project. With them on, your Mac adds the project's memory to
CLAUDE.local.md and AGENTS.md in a marked Winskel section and leaves the rest of each file as it is. Turning them off removes that section.
Secrets and privacy
Text that looks like a key, token, password or private key is refused and never stored. Memory is kept with your account in Winskel's service and only you can read it.
