# Connect Claude Code

## Required for every objective

Winskel plans every objective with Claude Code and uses it to review results it could not verify, so work cannot start until Claude Code is installed and signed in. If Claude Code reports that its plan limit is reached, new work waits until it resets.

## Sign in first

Open Claude Code on your Mac and complete its normal sign-in before starting Winskel. Winskel detects the local app and connects automatically, then checks the local command against the Claude Code models it supports.

Open Settings, then Agents, and check that Claude Code is available. Winskel does not collect or store your Claude Code credentials.
